When you watch an old movie that makes you laugh, you are giving yourself instant stress relief.

9. Swim

There is something about immersing yourself in cold water on a hot day or hot water on a cold day. It relaxes all the muscles and releases all that tension.

8. Walk

By taking a walk you can get out of an atmosphere that may contribute to your tension. Take a walk around your neighborhood to get a new perspective.

7. Hot Shower

Sometimes you need to be alone where no one can disturb you. Taking a shower is a great way to wash away your worries.

6. Talk to a Friend

Call a good friend who has a way of seeing life from your angle; it’s always good to know that someone understands where you’re coming from.

5. Enjoyment List

Create a list of things that you enjoy about your situation. It will help you find those little details that you failed to notice because you were too caught up in your worries.
